About

It is a great pleasure to welcome you to The Zunheboto Government College.

I feel privileged to lead such a vibrant College that offers such enormous opportunities.

We are proud of our caring, inclusive ethos where we set high standards and expectations of our pupils to achieve their very best. From the moment a young person enters the College we want them to feel a sense of happiness and belonging, as this is essential to their future success.

We aim for all pupils to be happy and to be challenged in a supportive and safe environment by:

Developing well rounded individuals who demonstrate resilience, determination and strength of character.

Equipping pupils with the skills required to access increased opportunities therefore enhancing their life chances.

Insisting on high expectations.

Developing an aspirational College community that engages with all parents and carers.

Our academic standards continue to improve year on year and the curriculum we offer is carefully designed to engage and inspire, providing pupils with the necessary skills to flourish in an ever-changing world.

To complement this we provide a wide range of extra-curricular activities to enrich their academic and social lives.

Our popularity has never been higher, a full school is testament to our community’s belief in what we are doing and the exciting future we have in front of us. Our recent inspection confirms this view, with Ofsted formally acknowledging that Zunheboto Government College is a good school.

Visitors are always welcome to make an appointment to visit the College and see what we have to offer, talk to our staff and students and see us in action. I look forward to welcoming you to ensure the best standard of education for your child.

Yours Sincerely,

Shri. T. AllongTzudir
